Morgan starred on a video about AIDS education and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. Morgan donated a portion of her earnings to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is a Member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Team. Morgan has also led numerous other fundraising initiatives in the fight against AIDS and testified in front of a specially-created Congressional Committee regarding AIDS Education. She sits on the Board of Governors of APLA and Board of Directors of Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her to at times take his place in AIDS activities. And she co-hosted the AIDS Awareness Special together with anchorman Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated to be one of the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written specifically for Morgan. The spring season saw Morgan co-starring with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC TV. The summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. It was directed by By Zerneck and Sertner and included Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. She then starred in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady, which starred Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan played a part in the psychological suspense thriller which was produced exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the biggest ratings in the network's history.
