Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actor and author. She made a name for herself acting in television, starting with the soaps that aired on the daytime One Life to Live & Guiding Light. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in The Bronx, NY) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo started her acting career in soaps that aired in the daytime. From 1995 to 1997 she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap drama One Life to Live. She was also cast on Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera on CBS between 1999 and 2000 as Theresa Sandoval. She made her film debut through a tiny role as a character in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. In 2001, Navedo co-starred in the action film Double Take and the following year was the drama Washington Heights. Navedo played a regular role in the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. In the following years, he was a part of Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo was also in a variety of other movies, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. From 2011 to the year 2013 Navedo played recurring roles in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. The comic film Superfast! which was a mockumentary of The Fast and the Furious film series, which was released in 2015. Navedo's career in the field started with soaps for daytime. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo played Linda Soto in ABC's One Life to Live. Then in 1999 she joined the team of CBS soap opera Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. The film debut of her was a minor role in Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on episodes of New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo appeared on the screen in Double Take (2001), an action-packed comedy.
